Flagship Practical Masterclass 2 Days (Weekend / Friday-Saturday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

ASIC Rig Assembly, Diagnostics & Operations Masterclass

A 2-day intensive practical workshop inside our Dawson hardware testing laboratory.

Format & Location

In-Person 2-Day Practical Intensive (16 Hours total) • Logic Bridge Hub Workshop Lab, 67 Main Street, Dawson VIC 3858

Tuition & Pricing Basis

$1,450 AUD per participant (includes diagnostic toolkit, workbook, and lab bench materials)

Program Overview & Real-World Result

Master physical ASIC teardown, thermal paste repasting, hashboard troubleshooting, 3-phase PDU wiring safety, and firmware optimization in a fully equipped Australian workshop.

Expected Practical Competency: Participants gain the practical physical skills to diagnose failing hashboard ASICs, replace cooling fans and thermal interface materials, configure custom firmware for power efficiency, and safely design high-amp electrical circuits.

Delivered By

Led by certified electrical technicians and senior hardware diagnostic engineers at Logic Bridge Hub.

Target Audience

Self-hosted crypto mining operators, regional farm caretakers, electricians expanding into high-density compute, and technical enthusiasts seeking hardware-level competency.

Curriculum & Technical Scope

  • Physical anatomy and teardown of Bitmain Antminer and MicroBT Whatsminer chassis
  • Hashboard voltage domain testing using digital multimeters and oscilloscope probes
  • Kernel log interpretation for hardware error codes (HW errors, temp sensors, PLL clock faults)
  • Safe 240V/415V 3-phase workshop electrical distribution, breaker sizing, and C19/C20 cabling
  • Airflow dynamics, CFM calculations, negative pressure mitigation, and sound dampening baffling
  • Immersion cooling tank principles, dielectric fluid maintenance, and pump redundancies

Step-by-Step Delivery Process

1. Safety & Electrical Grounding

Orientation on workshop high-voltage safety, ESD protocols, earthing requirements, and proper breaker selection under Australian electrical rules.

2. Chassis Teardown & Component Isolation

Hands-on disassembly of control boards, power supply units (PSUs), fan assemblies, and hashboards with systematic inspection of heat sinks.

3. Bench Diagnostics & Signal Line Tracing

Powering boards on test rigs to measure RI, RO, CLK, and RST test points, locating dead ASIC chips across serial chain domains.

4. Thermal Overhaul & Fan Optimization

Removing hardened thermal paste, applying phase-change materials or Arctic MX-4, torque-spec tightening of heatsinks, and setting up PWM fan profiles.

5. Firmware Tuning & Network Configuration

Flashing low-voltage custom firmware (Braiins / VNish), setting dynamic frequency scaling for peak ambient temperatures, and configuring private stratum proxies.

ASIC Rig Assembly, Diagnostics & Operations Masterclass

Included in Program

  • Dedicated ESD-safe workstation with soldering iron, digital multimeter, and variable bench power supply
  • Teardown practice on sacrificial Antminer S19 and Whatsminer M30s test boards
  • Comprehensive 120-page printed reference handbook: Australian Electrical Standards (AS/NZS 3000) for High-Density Compute Loads
  • Morning tea, lunch, and barista coffee provided on both days
  • Certificate of Workshop Completion and direct 90-day technical follow-up access via email
